Well, it's not exactly news that I'm a slow worker! But for once, I have good news vis-a-vis my workload; working on this new piece of lineart is certainly taking time, but with a few parts and details it should be ready to put up in draft form (and I'm pretty confident you'll like it)! I'll try and finish it over the next few days, so bear with me here.
15,000 views - yes, I rather enjoy being watched.
Well, I was flippant when this page reached the 10,000 views mark, but 15,000? I can't be anything other than flattered. I put all this time into doing all this lineart, and while I do enjoy it - and its products - it can be an intensely frustrating experience at times. To be able to come back to a site like this and see people liking the work I do, or committing to being bombarded with notifications every time I put up yet more pixels, or even putting up a few words commenting on the images (which I love, please keep them coming!) - well, it very nearly goes ahead and makes the whole damn thing worthwhile. So for that, I thank anybody who ma

Sort of. See how I've been drawing up all these WWII-ish tanks lately? For anybody who might be following this page, or happens to stumble upon it, I have two questions.
i) So the last proper 'tank' variant of the family is going to be this odd 1946-vintage tank with a mechanical autoloader a la the AMX-13 and a big gun, but I can't choose between using an oscillating turret or something else. What shall I do?
ii) What sorts of variants should I try making? AA tanks, ARVs, flamethrower tanks, open-topped artillery, Jagdpanzer-alikes - it's all fair game.
In less lineart-y news, I just spent a pleasant weekend in France enjoying the sunny w
Mid-Century March...?
Somebody's having a 1940s phase, and there're no prizes for guessing who. For now, I've decided that not colouring in the lineart allows me to draw up variants quickly, so I'm going to be putting them out as greys for a while longer - once they're all, or mostly, done, I'll choose a few to colour up and see if I can get some crazy WWII colour schemes and camouflage going. Right now, my focus is on drawing up the A43 and A46 tanks, but if anybody has any suggestions, pitch them my way!
